I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Horticulture from Cornell University, and a Master of Science and Teaching Certificate in Special Education from Temple University. For 8 years I taught horticulture to youth at a private special needs school in New Jersey. In 1990 I received an award from The Association of Schools and Agencies for the Handicapped : “ Educator of the Year for Region IV, South Jersey”.
Our children 20, 18, and 13 (as of March 2013) have always been homeschooled. Our oldest is currently a college sophomore.
