Sørina Higgins and her husband live near Allentown, PA, where she teaches courses in literature, writing, music, philosophy, Shakespeare, and The Inklings at Fine Arts centers for homeschoolers. She holds an M.A. from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English and a B.A. in English and Music from Gordon College. She is active in the teaching and tutoring of homeschool families, and has been evaluating homeschooled students for the state of Pennsylvania since 2006. Her poetry has appeared in Relief, Innisfree, Studio, Perspectives, Alive Now, Windhover, and idiom, and articles or reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in Stillpoint, Sehnsucht, and Bible & Spade. She is the author of the entry on Charles Williams in the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Christian Literature. Her debut poetry chapbook, The Significance of Swans, is scheduled for publication by Finishing Line Press in August of 2008.
