FREE PHYSICS PILOT — HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES WANTED

Curved Horizons is a science-fiction novel with a complete physics course woven through it — reference frames, gravity, relativity, orbital mechanics and black holes. Every student reads the same chapter; what changes is how far the physics is taken, from a level needing no algebra through to a calculus-based one, so mixed-age households run one chapter — two levels, not two courses.
The author is looking for homeschool families to run the first seven chapters this fall — around a chapter a week from the week of 26 October, free — in exchange for honest feedback and a short assessment before and after. Places are limited. No physics background is needed to teach it.

Calling Young Writers: Publish Your Child's Animal Story
Children's author Linda Harkey is inviting students to submit original animal stories and memories for possible publication in her new Great-Grandma's Animal Adventures column in Story Monsters Ink® magazine.
This year-round opportunity offers teachers, librarians, homeschool educators, and parents a fun, meaningful way to encourage creative writing while giving young authors the exciting opportunity to see their work published.
Students are invited to submit an original animal story or memory of up to 400 words, along with a favorite photo or drawing of the animal, if available.
Selected submissions will be featured in Story Monsters Ink®. Each selected child will receive an autographed copy of one of Linda Harkey's books, and their school library will also receive a signed copy.
Stories received in time may be considered for the next available issue, while others may be held for publication in a future edition.
This is an excellent opportunity to inspire creativity, strengthen writing skills, encourage storytelling, and celebrate student achievement. We'd greatly appreciate it if you would share this opportunity with your educators, members, families, or readers.
